After an early dinner we were taken by coach into Vienna for
a concert.
We were given a glass of bubbly on arrival and were then taken into
the small concert hall where Beethoven's 3rd Symphony, the 'Eroica' was first performed with Beethoven conducting and Josef Haydn in attendance.
We were
treated to performances of the Blue Danube and the Radetzsky March and a number of others
and then came back.
It was a pleasant evening but we were glad that we got it
free as we had it a s part of our on board credit. Costing about the same as our recent visit to
Jersey Boys, it wasn't good value for anyone who had to pay.
